STI INTERNET
STI Internet's story was marked by many firsts such as the first ISP to offer unlimited access, the first ISP to provide a free installation CD-ROM containing a user friendly dial-up kit that would get users online in no time and other firsts that were at many times imitated by the competition. STI Internet is headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil and was founded in 1992. STI Internet's services were not limited to its dial-up customers alone. STI was also the first ISP to provide online streamin... g services to Brazil's major radio networks as well as hosting solutions to corporate clients. Despite being funded solely by its founders and having only local dial-up presence in the city of Sao Paulo, STI Internet still became Brazil's 4th largest ISP, as its founders had learned early on that a company's largest asset were its clients and therefore provided them with the best customer support in the industry. STI was known as "O provedor amigo" (the friendly ISP).
