Stones2milestones is on a mission to ‘Create a Nation of Readers’, gifting children the will and skill to read in English. - Freadom is a parent app designed for children aged 3 to 9 to learn to read in English - it provides busy parents with a ready, carefully curated collection of stories, language honing activities, monthly reading competitions, and daily positive news matched to their kids’ reading levels. - Built on 7.5 years of primary and secondary research, it first locates the u... sers reading level and then navigates them to the desired level, basis a proprietary reading scale developed by Stones2Milestones. The aim is to encourage family bonding over time spent reading together from an early age, which studies have found to be the most effective way of nurturing a lifelong reading habit. - We use an AI-ready recommendation engine to match users to the most relevant content. Detailed data collection allows us to share regular traction reports for all content on Freadom and customise content for users. - The organisation is in research partnership for impact evaluation with the Human-Centred AI division at Stanford University (Prof. Susan Athey) and IIM Calcutta (Prof. Aditi Bhutoria). - Freadom goes out to parents of 1,00,000 children. - Content partners associated with Freadom include leading book publishers like Harper Collins, Penguin Random House, Champak, Worldreader. - Freadom was featured on Apple App Store as 'Apps we Love', won first prize at GMC Calibrator for EdTech startups in December 2018, was awarded Best Startup-Innovation by CL Educate in January 2019.More
