Sub-Micro is developing a novel therapeutic device to aid in the removal of residual tumor cells, which will limit metastatic spread and significantly improve long-term survival for cancer patients. The therapeutic system targets and mechanically removes malignant cells from the body using magnetic nanomaterials and a pump driven extracorporeal circuit containing a magnetic filter.
