SURANA INDUSTRIES
On 25th March 1991; “Surana Metals & Steels (India) Limited” was incorporated as a public limited company. Envisaging bright prospects for steel, in 1995 Surana embarked upon the steel manufacturing activity by setting up a bar mill at Gummidipoondi, Tamilnadu with the capacity of 1,00,000 TPA & a service centre at Madhavaram, Tamilnadu with the capacity of 60,000 TPA to manufacture TMT bars. The mills are modernized during 2002 – 04. As a backward integration, the Company had set up an induction furnace at Gummidipoondhi in 2005 For more than a decade now, Surana Industries have been pioneering, setting trends and forging ahead in steel, power & mining.
