SURGEON GENERAL
Surgeon General provides scientific information on illnesses and how to reduce the risk of getting them. The organization also oversees the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (USPHS), an elite group of more than 6,700 uniformed officer public health professionals working throughout the federal government whose mission is to protect, promote, and advance the health of America. Surgeon General was founded in 2010 and is based in Washington, D.C.
