TAILSCALE
Tailscale is a WireGuard-based company that works to make private networks easier to build and simpler to configure and maintain. It reduces VPN setup by using a team’s existing identity provider such as GSuite and Office365, connects authorized devices in a peer-to-peer mesh, minimizing latency and improving reliability. The company also creates a secure network between their servers, computers, and cloud instances. Tailscale builds on top of WireGuard’s Noise protocol encryption, a peer-reviewed and trusted standard. Their vision is to remove overhead and complexity from this long tail of software and operational problems that people face every day. It was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
