Taptic Toys is an interactive toy company that brings together mobile devices, the internet, and toys. The Xachi Pet connects wirelessly over Bluetooth to mobile devices such as the iPhone and the iPod Touch, providing a rich, ever-changing gaming experience. The Xachi plush doll is a digital pet, complete with a backstory and lifelike personality. Kids play games, both fun and educational, to earn shells, the virtual currency. Take the shells to the store to buy food, drink, and clothes... to keep Xachi happy. Share your Xachi profile with your friends, or give another Xachi some gifts in the moderated online community that brings the whole gaming experience onto the web. The Xachi Pet brand is currently in the prototype stages, and Taptic Toys is seeking seed investment to begin production in Summer 2010.
