At the Commerce campus of Texas A&M, a respected, established university, there are an enormous number of academic programs to choose from as well as research opportunities and the chance to become involved in campus activities. Over 100 undergraduate and graduate programs can be found at Texas A&M Commerce, with degrees awarded in everything from Agriculture to Business to Photography to Social Work. Research institutes are a prominent feature of the Commerce campus and education, with facult... y mentors taking students through the entire research process, including applying for grants and effectively using resoureces to their benefit. When students at TAMU Commerce are not studying, they have the chance to get involved in the school’s more than 90 student organizations or clubs or simply relax at the campus student center, “The Club.” Admissions are competitive, with many entering students ranking at the high end of their graduating class. With merit scholarships and other forms of financial aid available to qualifying students, Texas A&M Commerce does its best to make sure that all students who are acceped are able to attend.
