Lyria is a company that manages TGV connections between France and Switzerland. Originally, in 1993, Lyria was an economic interest group (GIE) founded on the initiative of the French National Railways Company (SNCF) and the Swiss Federal Railways (CFF). Its mission was originally to manage the Paris-Gare de Lyon - Lausanne and Paris-Gare de Lyon - Bern services by TGV. It extended to other TGV links to Switzerland, including the Paris - Geneva line, in 2005. Its current status is that of a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) under French law.
