Hobby Lobby Fabric? - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Star's Quilt …
Feb 15, 2015 Re: Hobby Lobby Fabric? Nice to hear good reviews so far. I was impressed with the fabric -- for it not being a quilt shop -- and hoping the fabric I purchased washes well and will make for good quilting fabric. They had several prints that I have seen online from either fabric.com or elsewhere -- including some Wizard of Oz themed fabric.See details»
Soft and Stable vs. Pellon FF77 stabilizer - The Quilting Forum ...
Apr 11, 2015 On a side note, the other day I found that Hobby Lobby has 40% coupons online that you can print out and use in the store, once a day. I used it on 971F which is much denser than 987F, but I have not used it yet.See details»
Hobby Lobby Fabric? - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Star's Quilt …
Feb 15, 2015 Re: Hobby Lobby Fabric? I like to give Hobby Lobby my business because of their Christian principles. I've bought quite a bit of fabric at HL over the past few years. It's not name brand, but you can find some nice fabrics if you look. I usually hold the cloth up to the light & check the feel of it.See details»
Sew-ology Thread - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Star's Quilt …
Jul 2, 2017 I was recently at Hobby Lobby and saw that Coats and Clarks thread is on clearance and there is a new rack for Sewology Thread. Has anyone used this brand? How would you rate the quality? Sew-ology thread is not suitable for hand quilting, very thick, hard to thread, draggy, twists very badly.See details»
Fusible fleece instead of batting? - The Quilting Forum - Missouri …
Aug 4, 2011 I use the warm-n-white (or warm-n-natural) for placemats, table runners, etc. I double layer for hot pads and table runners, I single layer for placemats I buy mine at my local fabric store (JoAnns, Hobby-Lobby, etc) hope that helps K. Kona Cotton - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Star's Quilt Community
Aug 17, 2016 Re: Kona Cotton I have been happy with the few quilting fabrics purchased at Hobby Lobby -- all have been prints (Wizard of Oz and other novelty). Someone previously posted on this forum in past year or so that they thought different Kona fabric was sold at chain vs. quilt stores. I cannot confirm. By the way -- I prefer Bella Solids over Kona; I just don't like the weight and feel of Kona as ...See details»
Hobby Lobby PreCuts - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Star's Quilt …
Jan 25, 2013 Re: Hobby Lobby PreCuts Fabric Palette is the same brand you get at Walmart here in Canada, not sure about in the US though. I've also seen quilt shops selling FQ's by the same company but would not pay more than Walmart is charging. I'm using the "Paloma" line for my Farmer's Wife/Granddaughter quilt, and the fabric is actually nice.See details»

LQS quilt fabric vs Joann/hobby lobby fabric - Jenny Doan
Nov 16, 2014 Have seen decent fabrics at Joanne, Hancock, and Hobby Lobby had a very nice selection of homespun that I used for shower curtains. The only problem with said stores is they follow fashion and some of the new fabric is not to my taste to put it mildly. At least online you can find a fabric house with more traditional prints and colors.See details»
