Applicants must submit an admissions application, two letters of recommendation, a personal statement and resume. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. An interview may also be required. The school offers private loans to eligible students. To qualify for these, applicants must have a good credit rating. Cambridge School of Culinary Arts also awards scholarships. These include a scholarship for African-American students and a talent scholarship from the James Beard Foundation.
