THE CITY OF ROTTERDAM
The City of Rotterdam actively enhances the regional cleantech ecosystem. They believe that we can stimulate economic growth by fastening the energy transition and the transition towards a circular economy. Instead of losing employment in their oil- and petrochemical clusters, they have to prepare our region for the challenges that they face and the transitions that they have to go through. Therefore, their mission is to promote and stimulate the implementation of clean technologies. One instru... ment to enhance the cleantech ecosystem is that we are a partner in the INTERREG Scale-UP program. The aim of this program is to connect the innovation needs of corporates with the latest innovations of local, regional and international start-ups and SMEโs. The Meet-the-Buyer event is one of the important cornerstones of this program.
