THE FLAX PROJECT
The Flax Project is an Irish programming blog that shares tutorials and tech demos on a bunch of topics, ranging from web-based technology such as GWT, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, GNU/Linux, and Mac OS X. It also posts updates about the Flax Engine, a 2D game engine designed for the web, using features introduced in HTML5, specifically the canvas and audio tags. The blog is updated on a weekly basis. The Flax Project was launched in 2010 by [Carl Lange](https://www.crunchbase.com/person/carl-lange) and [Ciaran McCann](https://www.crunchbase.com/person/ciaran-mccann).
