THE GOVERNANCE LAB
The Governance Lab is a non-profit organization that builds, studies, and implements experimental, technology-enabled solutions that advance a collaborative, networked approach to re-invent existing institutions and processes of governance to improve people’s lives. It is operated as a network of networks. Funded by grants from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and housed at New York University with a growing network of partners, The Governance Lab encompasses two initiatives such as research and academy. Founded in 2013 by Manik Suri, Beth Noveck, and Stefaan Verhulst, it is based in Brooklyn, New York.
