The PAS Group is one of Australia’s leading apparel groups with an established business model and over 23 brands integrated into the group. The group was established in November 2004 to capitalize on the fragmented nature of the apparel industry in Australia with the intention of aggregating a diversified group of successful, long established apparel businesses. The group has progressively acquired and integrated 8 Australian apparel and accessories companies over the past 9 years as par... t of its “buy and build” strategy. Targeted demographics range from infants to the older consumer with products sold under various brand names through a range of retail outlets in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa including Myer, David Jones, Target, Kmart, Farmers and approximately 1,000 independent retailers. The group has 235 company owned stores which include a number of Myer concessions. There are substantial growth plans to further enhance the retail footprint over the next 3 years. Wholesale operations are derived from brands, licenses and house branded product for the department stores and discount department stores. Since 2007 the group has focused on the integration of the businesses and achieving economies of scale in its supply chain and reducing the cost of doing business. The group has built a platform providing significant scale, infrastructure and expertise to exploit opportunities in a fragmented market. The group has a Melbourne based head office accommodating the majority of the divisions as well as the corporate office and has a solid platform to continue to both organically grow as well as to acquire additional businesses.
