THE RESEARCH DATA ALLIANCE (RDA)
The Research Data Alliance (RDA) enables open data sharing and re-use by building social and technical bridges. The RDA Europe Ambassadors program brings together eminent and well-connected domain experts who are working to establish a two-way communication and engagement channel, promoting RDA outputs and perspectives on the one hand, while also incorporating insights and practical contributions from domain-focused data communities into RDA's work on the other. Introduced it in 2013 as a community-driven initiative by the European Commission, the United States Government's National Science Foundation and National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the Australian Government’s Department of Innovation.
