Learning the fundamentals of mechanics, electronics and software programming through the SmartBlock is a great fun for the children at the age of between 5 and 13. They get... familiar with the building mechanism, operation of sensors and the results of programming commands. Since there is no need any kind of help; like supervisors and instruction manuals, the SmartBlock encourages creative thinking and curiosity of children. It improves the mentality of teamwork as well. Having learnt the fundamentals of programming as easy as just by dragging and dropping the interlocking blocks, children realize relation between the real and the virtual world. Snapping LEGO bricks and 3D printed accessories to the robots, improves the ability of creative thinking for a customized construction. SmartBlock is Arduino compatible as well for the makers. It is such an educational kit that, it can be an integrated curriculum solution for the primary schools to learn the fundamentals of STEM through playing.
