THE VOLATILITY FUND

Volatility fund. Uses a proprietary method for investing in the XIV ETN. This ETN focuses on making the equity volatility risk premium. This ETN is dominated by occasional large drawdowns which makes it rather unattractive. Using a proprietary method that utilizes the VIX futures as a ""risk on"" / ""risk off"" methodology, it's possible to produce outstanding returns whilst avoiding these drawdowns. If one invested $10k in 2007 using this method, it would be worth more than $660k today if all r... eturns were re-invested. The max drawdown would be 23.7%. The fund is currently allocated with $30k of my own money. It is structured like a hedge fund, you invest $10k and the total size fund increases to $40k. If the fund returns 95% in a year, and you have invested $10k into it, that would be $9.5k profit. You keep 70% of those profits ($6.65k) and I keep 30% (2.85k). If the return is negative, you bear the entire loss. The fund uses no leverage. If the size is $40k, $40k is invested into the XIV exactly, and no more. The fund may have large periods where it is not invested into the market, depending on what the proprietary measure reads. On request, an Excel sheet showing the backtested data can be transmitted to potential investors. Full transparency is the key, minus the obvious proprietary ""risk on"" / ""risk off"" measure which if given out, would undermine the whole point of this, as people could just open their own brokerage accounts without relying on me. Make no mistakes, I am purely greed-driven and will not attempt to hide that or convince peole of anything. What you see is what you get. Not much time was spent on this ad, if interest shows up more time might be spent refining it, if not, it's not much time wasted. I do have plenty of money and already invest for friends and family and have done so since 2010 on a private account. However expanding ones horizon never hurt, and this is just an attempt at that. Any more details can be worked out over e-mail or etc.
