TWDK will focus on explaining ongoing scientific research in simple language, so that the general public can understand and follow the scientific process from beginning to end. By employing science student... s to write about the research being done at their own universities, TWDK is building a huge database covering every branch of science, with detailed descriptions in everyday language. Visitors to the website will be able to find questions that interest them, and subscribe to receive updates from scientists working in the field, new theories, and results. With just one click, readers will be able to crowdfund scientific research into questions they wish to see answered, effectively democratizing science. Using its database, TWDK aims to offer carefully designed features to benefit scientists, journalists, industry and journalists as well as the general public. As a registered Community Interest Company, TWDK is legally bound to use the majority of its profits to fund scientific research, and communicate the results.
