IT is broken. The current infrastructure of the Internet is hardly secure. It is not decentralized and it is not scalable. The demand for IT capacity is growing exponentially and big IT corporations cannot satisfy the market. Existing status quo allows large companies to control our privacy and our data, inevitably deeming us as their products. Many blockchain companies have tried to solve this problem but thus far have been unsuccessful. ThreeFold is a universal layer of Internet capacity (sto... rage & compute) that is autonomously driven to power all IT workloads including blockchain smart contracts, edge computing, IoT, AI, and beyond. A cloud which is truly peer2 peer, autonomous, and owned by all of us, enabling 100% data privacy, ownership and promotes equality and inclusivity. ThreeFold’s decentralized cloud bridges the gap between traditional cloud, blockchain protocols and edge computing enabling workloads to scale securely, cost effectively and sustainably. Today ThreeFold is the biggest decentralized, autonomous (self-managing) cloud in the world (+40 Petabytes and +15K CPU Cores in over 20 Countries) and allows any type of cloud or blockchain workload to run and scale seamlessly. Testnet is available and our mainnet will launch in Feb 2020.
