THRUVISION SYSTEMS
ThruVision designs and manufactures screening products which can detect objects under a person’s clothes, such as weapons, explosives, or smuggled contraband. ThruVision’s products are used by border security, law enforcement as well as for defense and loss prevention. Thruvision addresses one of today’s most important security challenges: detecting concealed weapons, explosives and contraband hidden under peoples’ clothing in high-throughput environments. This “stand-off” detection... capability is based on Thruvision’s proven and patented passive millimeter-wave technology, which allows security staff to conduct fast, safe and respectful people-screening. Unlike walk-through metal detectors, Thruvision can detect non-metallic threats such as plastic explosives, 3D printed guns, and ceramic knives.
