Tillamook PUD supplies the whole county of Tillamook, as well as parts of Clatsop and Yamhill counties. The Bonneville Power Administration provides power to the Tillamook PUD, which is distributed to customers through nine substations situated throughout the county. Nestucca, Hebo, Beaver, Trask River, Wilson River, South Fork, Garibaldi, Nehalem, and Mohler are the substations. In an area of 1,125 square miles, the PUD serves around 21,000 consumers. Tillamook County is located on the north Or... egon coast and encompasses the area between the Coast Range's crest and the ocean. Tillamook County was founded on December 15, 1853, making it the twelfth county in Oregon. The Killamook Indians gave it their name, which means "place of many streams." The climate is characterized by mild summers and damp winters.
