TOUCHEMEDICAL
ToucheMedical is a medical technology company that developed a closed-loop handle-less syringe medical pump. The company focused on the development of the smallest and lowest cost patch pump, with improved safety technology and accuracy, for the medical market. The Touche pump uses a unique mechanism which measures the actual delivery of drug from the reservoir and automatically compensates for any variations from mechanical and environmental factors, making it highly accurate. The novel pump t... echnology developed by TouchéMedical will be able to reduce significantly the cost of manufacturing the pump and associated disposable parts, overcoming the main barrier of cost to the current use of patch pumps, and for the first time making these pumps available for widespread use in the treatment of drug delivery. The Touche pump comprises a reusable pump module and a disposable drug reservoir. TouchéMedical’s goal is to develop patch pumps that are affordable and available to all patients worldwide.
