TRAVEL OPEN PARTNERSHIP
When working in the accommodation space, our founder Silviu experienced what many hotels experience. High OTA (Online Travel Agent) commissions for hotel bookings (12-25%)! He wanted to design a booking platform where hotels would work together with their customers to reduce commission load and improve ancillary revenues for hotels, while making the booking experience better for travellers. The solution we are working on is a collaborative booking platform where hotels work together passively with other hotels, while gaining extra ancillary revenue in the process. We achieve this through a unique blend of referral system, partnerships with hotels and booking engines, and innovative use of Big Data.
