Hi Everyone! We're Tutor Tango, a visionary in-person and online tutoring service for students in grades 5 and above. In the world of tutoring, we're unique. Here’s why: We’re founded and run by teachers. We know first-hand how education can have a transformative effect on the life of a child. We’ve taught students who need extra help, and we know that the most effective tutors don’t simply do work or write papers for kids--they empower them to succeed on their own. We hire only ex... perienced teachers to be our tutors. We believe that classroom-tested, experienced educators know best how to work with students of different backgrounds and learning styles. Our tutors have an average of over 7 years of teaching experience at the middle, high school, and college levels in just about any subject, from ACT prep to Zoology, and everything in between. We have an important social mission. We are committed to providing ALL students with access to high-quality tutoring, regardless of their income level. Through our social outreach division, Pro Bono Publico, we’ve partnered with educational outreach organizations to identify underprivileged kids in need of academic help and ensure that they get it. It has everything tutors and students need to work efficiently and effectively together: video and audio messaging, file sharing, instant messaging, desktop sharing, and an interactive whiteboard.More
