UNERGY
Unergy is a marketplace that connects companies needing funding for Solar installations (market of +$200B yearly) with retail investors who invest in their projects in exchange for a +10% yearly return on investment. When companies go solar they could save around 20 - 40% of their utility bill, however financing a solar installation costs about $500k on average, which is hard to pay with their own liquidity or without affecting their balance sheet. We remove this friction by connecting them with retail investors who are willing to invest +$1K smaller checks in exchange for equity in that solar project, which often results in +10% returns per year for them.
