Our Mission: To Tell the Story of the American Music of Our Time Through the World's Artistic Cultures. American Sound is a reality show made for live stream through our website which is accessed by subscriptions. It is a hybrid of Talent Competition and Travel - Reality Show. By presenting the Art of Jazz Improvisation in the forum of pop culture, we will help promote the health and job making ability within our endangered industry as well as our global understanding. By auditions before... a panel of the most eminent jazz performers and educators in the industry, a band of ambassadors will be selected to go to different countries as travel show hosts to tell stories of the artistic cultures and to hybrid our American jazz with the instruments, traditions and the people of the places they visit. Over the course of the series they will emerge a new full length collaborative work of music to be performed at the end of the tour. The series will be narrated by improvisational and comedic actors. During our broadcast hours, we will also present a programming of jazz education shows. They will consist of jam sessions, lectures, master classes, instrument classes, composition and theory, and chats where our customers can call or text in with their questions and have them answered in real time. Technology to broadcast in this way is already available and the architecture of the website can be built without new invention. Because of our minimal use of earth's resources and maximum employment of talent, the majority of our funding goals of $10,000,000 to begin operations will go to salaries for new jobs. Our customers will benefit in a broader access to information about jazz culture and acquaintances while saving money and time on travel and admission fees to lectures, shows and sessions.
