Established by Law 10,032 of October 23,2000,the Federal University of Tocantins Foundation (UFT) is a public entity linked to the Ministry of Education for the promotion of teaching,research and extension,endowed with didactic-scientific,administrative and educational autonomy.financial and asset management,in accordance with current legislation (Article 207 of the Federal Constitution ).Its mission is to train professional citizens and produce knowledge with innovation and quality that contribute to the social and environmental development of the State of Tocantins and the Legal Amazon (as written by the Strategic Planning 2016-2020).
