Universities Space Research Association (USRA) is an independent, non-profit research corporation focused on advancing space science and technology. It works across disciplines, including biomedicine, planetary science, astrophysics, and engineering and integrates those competencies into applications ranging from fundamental research to facility management and operations. It also engages the creativity and authoritative expertise of the research community to develop and deliver forward-looking solutions to federal agencies and other government sponsors. Universities Space Research was founded in 1969 and is headquartered in Columbia, Maryland.
