Through this program, students attend University of Virgin Islands for three years and in the fourth year transfer to one of several reputable U.S. universities, including Columbia University, University of Florida and Washington University in St. Louis. UVI also has a similar program in pre-med; students of this program transfer in their fourth year to the prestigious Boston University Medical School. There are also other opportunities for UVI students, from all majors, to attend other universities in the U.S. and Mexico. The National Student Exchange program at UVI is linked with over 170 universities and gives students a semester or year of study at the site of exchange. Applicants should show a strong high school grade history and standardized test scores, but UVI admissions takes into consideration a variety of factors and the individual.
