UNIVERSITY PEDIATRICIANS AUTISM CENTER
UPAC applies behavioral concepts such as reinforcement to shape new behaviors, replaces inappropriate behaviors with more appropriate ones, and teaches additional skills such as attending and following instructions. Each treatment plan is tailored to the needs identified through parental input and client assessments.
