URBAN FLOWS OBSERVATORY
The Urban Flows Observatory is supported by £1.5 million in EPSRC capital funding, plus an extra £400k for an Urban Remote Sensing vehicle that will be shared with UKCRIC partner universities. The University of Sheffield has provided an additional £300,000 to Urban Flows for both equipment and a technical manager. provide strategies and tools for developing urban sensing structures, as well as for managing and analyzing urban data streams. We'll use this information to build a solid database that will help local and national decision-makers create zero-carbon, healthy, and happy communities.
