VENUS MEDIC
The aim of this project is to create and implement software which will automatically classify kinds of cancer on the basis of a cytological picture. The inventors have made use of new medical scientific research which describes how to distinguish between more mild types of cancer cell and malignant ones. The method of classification is based on the Bloom–Richardson grading system. The software will also use artificial neural networks. The project will help speed up the diagnose process and allow the treatment process to begin earlier.
