They may design t-shirts, direct and produce films an... d participate in fashion shows. After graduating from Virginia Marti, students use this experience to land jobs on film sets, for production companies and in a freelance capacity. They become costume designers for theatres, dressmakers and graphic designers for national and international corporations. The first step in the admissions process is to call the Virginia Marti admissions office. After that, prospective students get to visit the campus, where they receive a tour and get to ask questions about the school. After these steps are completed, applicants will need to submit an application, transcripts, recommendation letters and a letter to the school president stating why they would like to attend Virginia Marti. Applicants also need to take the school entrance exam. Submission of an art portfolio is encouraged but not required. Financial aid is awarded through need-based federal aid sources such as Pell grants and loans to those who qualify. Virginia Marti also participates in state-funded scholarship programs and awards scholarships for students in certain fields of study. Virginia Marti also honors tuition programs for veterans.More
