VivoSecurity was founded on the need to monetize cyber- risk for the enterprise without the conflict of interest that arises from selling cyber-security solutions. Their product is information; and they have an incentive to be as accurate and useful as possible. They work with companies to understand their cyber-security risk , monetize that risk and determine the most effective way to reduce their risk. They resist speculation and opinion, they do not perform lab tests; instead they strive to provide in vivo, statistically based information to allow a corporation to neither overspend or underspend on cyber-security. Headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley, VivoSecurity started in 2010 and had the first alpha product in the fall of 2012. They began searching for beta-sites in December 2012 and established their first beta-site in January 2013.
