WATER ENGINEERS FOR THE AMERICAS
Water Engineers for the Americas was founded in 2002 by a group of expert engineers and professionals from Souder, Miller and Associates, an engineering firm located in Santa Fe, NM. WEFTA founders, using experience from Habitat for Humanity, the United States Public Health Service, and Waterlines, a similar non-profit, wanted to build an organization that would connect donors and volunteers directly with Latin American communities in need of clean water and improved sanitation.
