WATER.ORG
Water.org is a nonprofit organization that provides aid to regions of developing countries that do not have access to safe drinking water and sanitation. It has already transformed hundreds of communities in Africa, South Asia, and Central America. Water.org works with local partners to deliver innovative solutions for long-term success. Its microfinance-based WaterCredit Initiative is pioneering sustainable giving in the sector. Water.org was formed in 1990 by Gary White and Matt Damon and is headquartered in Kansas City, M.O. with additional offices in South Africa and Africa.
