Watkins Refrigerated is a family-owned refrigerated carrier founded in the mid-1930s and operates predominantly in the southeastern United States. The company operates and manages more than 200 tractors and 400 refrigerated trailers. Watkins was recently recognized by the American Trucking Association with a third-place award for safety among all truckload carriers in the 20 to 50 million-mile category.
