With a small to mid-sized student body, the school isn’t overwhelmingly large, yet it offers over 70 academic programs in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies. Student life at Waynesburg is varied and rich. There are quite a few athletic opportunities available, including nine men’s and women’s varsity teams. Waynesburg varsity teams compete in the ten-member Presidents’ Athletic Conference, which is in Division III of the NCAA. As a Christian university, Waynesburg University has a strong history of community service. The Center for Service Leadership helps to organize diverse service opportunities, from local work in Pennsylvania to mission trips to South America.
