WELSH AMBULANCE SERVICES NHS TRUST
Welsh Ambulance Service serves 3 million people across 8,000 square miles with emergency medical services, population-wide telephone, and web-based healthcare, NHS Direct Wales guidance and information, and a variety of non-emergency patient transport services. Their truck is used to transport sick or injured patients. The majority of ambulances are either patient-carrying trucks or cargo vans with high roofs. Patients are usually transported to a hospital via ambulance. Ambulances are driven by specially trained persons and emergency medical technicians or EMTs.
