WORLD MISSION UNIVERSITY
World Mission University (WMU) is an Evangelical Christian school in Los Angeles, California, that offers Christian-oriented degrees to students whose first language is Korean. WMUโs academics encompass bachelorโs and masterโs degrees, and certificate programs. Available majors include: * Biblical Studies * Christian Counseling * Music * Divinity * Music * Theology WMU also awards a doctoral degree in Ministry. Those who would like to engage in short-term study not lea... ding to a degree may pursue a certificate program in Christian Family Counseling or Preschool Education. In recent years, WMU has expanded to offer most of its degree and certificate programs through online study, as well. Since the founders of the school and many of the students are Korean, WMU teaches all of its classes in Korean. The primary requirement for WMU admissions is a demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and studies. Additional admissions requirements for most programs include submission of an application with a fee, transcripts from schools attended, two letters of recommendation and proof of a medical exam. Applicants must also submit a personal statement about their Christian faith. WMU awards full and partial tuition scholarships to students with a record of academic excellence. They also award scholarships to students coming from overseas to study.
