WWF
WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) is a non-profit conservation organization that is focused on stopping the degradation of Earth’s natural environment by reducing humanity’s impact on natural habitats. Its primarily focused on climate change, sustainability, habitats, and endangered species. Having invested well over US$1 billion in more than 12,000 conservation initiatives since 1985 alone, WWF is continually working to bring a balance between their demands on their world, and the variety of life that lives alongside them. WWF was founded by Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld, Julian Huxley, Max Nicholson, Peter Scott, Guy Mountfort, and Godfrey A. Rockefeller in April 1961 and is headquartered in Washington, D.C., United States.
