Its course offerings cover various academic subjects taught in primary and secondary schools such as mathematics, English, physics, Chinese, and chemistry. In addition the company is engaged in the research and development of course materials. As of December 31, 2012, Xueda had a tutoring service network of 383 learning centers and approximately 13,280 full-time service professionals, serving customers located in 73 economically developed cities across 28 of China's 31 provinces and municipalities. Xueda Education Group was founded in September 2001 in Beijing, China. The company received US$10 million in October 2007 from CDH Investments and was incorporated in 2009. It went public on the New York Stock Exchange on November 2, 2010.
