ZEG POWER

ZEG Power AS is a company established in 2008 as a Joint Venture between the two Norwegian research institutes Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) and Christian Michelsen Research AS (CMR). The objective of the company is to be a technology provider for large-scale plants, and an equipment provider for small-scale plants, for production of hydrogen and/or electrical power from hydrocarbon gases with integrated CO2 capture, based on the patented ZEG-technology. The technology development star... ted in 2001 and ZEG Power has, in collaboration with its owners used significant resources in research and development of the ZEG-technology. The different technology elements are verified in pilot scale and technical – economic feasibility studies have shown that the technology has a significant potential for energy efficiency and cost effectiveness compared to conventional technology.
