Despite 6/10 pets suffering from heart failure, vital signs are still unreliably monitored through ECG devices mainly developed for human uses. Supported by the humanization trend of pets, we detected a critical gap in the pet heart failure monitoring industry and developed a dual-sensing wireless wearable, ensuring 99% monitoring accuracy for heart rate and 95% for breathing beats: on par with professional in-hospital monitoring equipment. The data can be easily monitored by users either on our... phone application or through our software on tablets. In addition, the data collected is stored on our system, forming a precious platform that has caught great interest from external entities and public organizations as a tool to enhance their studies and product offers within the pet healthcare industry. Our wearables not only help veterinaries with wireless and flexible measurements in-clinics but are also conveniently used at home by pet owners. Veterinarians can remotely monitor home usages and intervene when anomalies are detected by the system.
