Zucchetti's story is a true story of success, begun in 1929 with the founding of a small foundry in Valduggia (VC) by Alfredo Zucchetti and arrived to date with the constitution of the Zucchetti Group.Kos, led by the third generation - Elena, Carlo, with his cousins Marco and Paolo Zucchetti - which has 4 production facilities, a distribution unit, a total of 72,000 square meters covered, 400 employees, and 2 million articles each year. Innovation, design and quality have always been th... e founding pillars of the company, an indispensable hub of the evolution of its history. After an initial 'experimental' phase related to the production of taps and industrial valves, in 1950 Zucchetti converted the plant entirely to the production of chromed sanitary fittings. In the early 1950's, Mario Zucchetti, Alfredo's son, a light-hearted entrepreneur who will lead the company for almost fifty years, will enter into a major production, technology and commercial development: the new large plant in Gozzano (Novara) characterized by state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, will expose the brand to the most important international trade fairs in Milan, will open its first export office, for the conquest of foreign markets involved in post-war reconstruction. In 1958, the first major overseas commodities: Canada, Australia, ... became new major markets for the company.
