Active911 is a digital messaging system that delivers alarms, maps, and other critical information instantly to first responders. Active911 also allows response efforts to be monitored in real time. In order to use Active911, your organization must create an account. This is free, and takes 24-48 hours. If you like what you see, you can either remain free or convert to a paid account for extra features. Once the account is created, you'll need to have your dispatch center send alarms to a special kind of email address. Most centers have no problem doing this, and They are happy to assist.
