ADAM is a spin-off company of the University of Salento, born in the wake of a group of physicists, computer scientists, medical doctors, who have to their credit a common experience in the field of Physics and Informatics in Medicine. The members of the group come from the University of Salento, but also from other institutions, in particular the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan, the University of Camerino, Ecomedica Ltd. Empoli.
