Alteron Therapeutic is pharmaceutical startup dedicated to developing innovative drugs for the treatment Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). We target high TDP-43 activity, which is the root cause of neuronal death.  By inhibiting TDP-43, out drugs can simultaneously eliminate the three pathological markers of neurodegeneration and their efficacy has been verified in an hTDP-43 transgenic mouse disease model.
