BIO-FENCE
Bio-fence aims to reduce the morbidity and mortality caused by contaminated food. It is developing an antimicrobial molecule that designers can incorporate into a coating or paint designed for food sites, reducing microorganisms on surfaces and thus reducing the presence of hazardous pathogens such as Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, and Campylobacter.
